2) Silence and the Lambs.... you say "she" is running through the woods, please use name of character as this is confusing.
3) Using changes in colouration, you could say something like .....changes in colouration is a narrative device used in film and television to alert the viewer that the sequence is not in real time.
4) Avoid "things", be more specific to avoid confusion.
